槟城也有很好吃的曼煎糕,我吃过一家以前在Sungai Nibong的咖啡店摆卖的,到现在还念念不忘,只可惜后来那间咖啡店关闭了变成了网络酒吧,那摊曼煎糕也不知搬到哪里去了。
吃曼煎糕最讲究的是外皮做得是否香脆,还有花生粹要新鲜,多数贩摊都用烂花生,吃了不只味道不好,也影响健康,所以要格外小心。

The one you mentioned is "Ah Kee" pan cake. He moved to "Super Tanker" food court in Lip Sin garden, just next to Phor Tay school that under construction now.

He only open stall during night time except weekends, stall open as early as 8am.

我老家PASAR MALAM 有家1953(假如没记错,因好久没吃了)即由爷爷开始摆卖,传至儿子及孙子的马来曼煎糕。皮脆馅香,且花生又新鲜。我若回家,又逢周末,即会想起它。推荐给大家。

另:KH7883这栏位设得好,让食欲来钩动读欲,妙! 待我明年“出山”,再好好给大家介绍金宝美食。

Thank a lot, too bad, I stay in Tg Tokong, that place is even further than Sg. Nibong, anyway will not miss to patronise that stall again if apportunity arises.

为什么会叫慢煎糕?记得我小时候,就在学校对面有一个印裔老头在摆卖,当时的我可以一口气吃好几个,后来听说他告老还乡,我再也没有机会吃到好吃的慢煎糕了,除了怀念,还是怀念.............
